Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using the services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms.

Services

Missouri Fishing Intel provides fishing reports, lake information, articles, videos, forecasts, Personal Fishing Journals, Personalized Fishing Plans, Member Reports, fishing-intelligence and analytics features, guide-submitted reports, membership content, and related fishing intelligence. Some content may be free, and some content may require a paid membership.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time.

Fishing Journal and Personalized Fishing Plans

Personal Fishing Journal entries are private to the member by default. Information from your own Journal may be used to tailor your Personalized Fishing Plans. Plans may consider current fishing reports, historical information, lake and weather conditions, your preferences and fishing history, and other available fishing intelligence. Journal information is not guaranteed to be used in every plan.

Personalized Fishing Plans and other recommendations are informational only. Fishing and water conditions change, and we do not guarantee results. You remain responsible for your on-water decisions, personal and boating safety, current conditions, private property boundaries, and compliance with fishing, boating, and other applicable regulations.

Accounts and Access

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity under their account.

You may not share, resell, scrape, copy, redistribute, or republish paid content without written permission.

Memberships and Payments

Paid memberships are subject to the pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, and cancellation options shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors.

Unless otherwise stated, payments are final and non-refundable except at our discretion or as required by law.

Fishing Information Disclaimer

Fishing reports, forecasts, articles, and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. Conditions can change quickly due to weather, lake level, water clarity, current generation, seasonal movement, fishing pressure, and other factors.

We do not guarantee fishing results.

Users are responsible for following all applicable fishing regulations, boating laws, safety rules, private property rules, and local laws.

User and Guide Submissions

Guides, contributors, and users may submit reports, photos, notes, audio, video, or other materials. By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to submit it. You retain any ownership rights you otherwise possess in your original submitted material; these Terms do not automatically transfer your underlying copyright to us.

To the extent permitted by law, you grant Truman Lake Fishing Intel LLC and Missouri Fishing Intel a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, edit, modify, adapt, transform, summarize, aggregate, de-identify, create derivative analytical outputs from, incorporate into fishing intelligence, and otherwise use submitted Journal information and other user-submitted fishing information to operate, improve, develop, and promote our products and services. This license survives termination of your account or removal of an entry from the member-facing Journal to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This license does not make a private Journal entry public by default. Choosing “Submit this trip for review as a Member Report” is a separate, intentional authorization for editorial review. We may edit or format, publish, decline, remove, or otherwise manage a submitted Member Report. If approved, it may appear publicly or as member-access content under our normal content rules.

A published editorial Member Report is separate from the private Journal view and may remain in the Missouri Fishing Intel content library if the corresponding Journal entry is later removed, subject to applicable law. Private Journal information is not intended for public display unless you separately submit or authorize it for publication, or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.

We reserve the right to edit, refuse, remove, or decline to publish submitted content.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

Guides and contributors may voluntarily opt in to receive operational SMS reminders from Missouri Fishing Intel. These messages may include guide report submission reminders, reminder notices, account-related guide communications, and related report-submission notifications.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for help.

SMS consent is optional and is not required to create or use a guide account. Opting out of SMS reminders does not prevent you from using your guide account or receiving necessary account-related communications by other available methods. Guides may also manage SMS reminder preferences from their guide settings page.

Consent to Communications

By providing your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you regarding your account, membership, guide reports, submitted content, service updates, support requests, reminders, alerts, and related operational matters.

Users may receive SMS messages only where they have provided a phone number and consented to receive such messages.

Intellectual Property

All website content, reports, articles, videos, graphics, logos, layouts, software, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Missouri Fishing Intel or Truman Lake Fishing Intel LLC unless otherwise noted.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• use the services for unlawful purposes
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• interfere with website operation or security
• scrape, copy, or redistribute paid content
• submit false, misleading, infringing, or harmful content
• upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the services
• violate fishing, boating, trespassing, or wildlife regulations

Third-Party Services

Our services may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, analytics, email, SMS, storage, security, and other functions. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, policies, or actions outside our control.

No Warranty

The services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Missouri Fishing Intel, Truman Lake Fishing Intel LLC, and their owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the services.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Missouri Fishing Intel, Truman Lake Fishing Intel LLC, and their owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the services at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, abuse, misuse, security concerns, or other reasons at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
