Will Isaac

Will Isaac is originally from Lamar, Missouri, and now lives in Springfield. His love for fishing started early, spending time on the water with his dad, grandpa, and great uncle. That family foundation eventually grew into a serious tournament fishing path. Will has been a serious tournament bass angler for several years and fishes across the Ozarks, but he considers Stockton Lake his home lake. He enjoys a wide range of bass fishing techniques, but he especially focuses on shallow-water and river-style bass fishing with jigs, crankbaits, and jerkbaits. His tournament background includes two Solo Series Top 100 championship qualifications, the 2022 ABA Stockton Champion of the Year title, a Joe Bass win on Stockton Lake, 2023 Summer Bass Angler of the Year honors, and a 2023 Summer Bass Brawl Championship first-place finish. He has also earned multiple club championships and tournament wins. Will’s fishing approach is built around hard work, respect for the game, understanding seasonal patterns, and bringing a competitive mindset to every day on the water. He values the process of breaking down conditions, learning from each trip, and helping other anglers have that “aha” moment when something finally clicks. As a U.S. Army veteran and family man, Will brings discipline, honesty, and perspective to the fishing world. He is highly competitive, but also approachable and always willing to talk with people about the sport he loves. As a Missouri Fishing Intel contributor, Will brings tournament experience, Stockton Lake knowledge, shallow-water bass insight, and a strong respect for the anglers who helped lead the way. He is excited to be part of Missouri Fishing Intel and to help grow something special for Missouri anglers. People can follow Will on Facebook at Will Isaac.
