Jeremy Ransom

Jeremy Ransom grew up in the central Ozarks chasing catfish with family and friends on the Meramec River before expanding to the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and eventually many of Missouri’s major fisheries. He has now spent approximately 30 years seriously fishing and 10 years guiding through All Out Guide Service. Jeremy guides on Lake of the Ozarks, Truman Lake, the Missouri River and Mississippi River, primarily targeting catfish and paddlefish, along with seasonal crappie and white bass. Tournament fishing played a major role in developing Jeremy’s approach on the water. He spent about 10 years competing in catfish tournaments across the country and says he finished in the money roughly 80% of the time. His accomplishments include a first-place finish at the 2016 Monsters on the Ohio against 197 boats, five Top-10 finishes at Mississippi River Monsters, four Top-10 finishes at Winter Blues on Wheeler, and numerous other strong finishes in tournaments across the country. Jeremy credits much of his success to learning how to adapt. Years of competing on unfamiliar water taught him to stay patient, keep moving and adjust when the fish aren’t cooperating. That experience ultimately made him even more effective when he returned to the fisheries he knows best. One of Jeremy’s biggest strengths is his understanding of fish behavior and seasonal patterns. He enjoys helping clients shorten the learning curve by teaching them lessons that took him years of trial and error to learn himself. For Jeremy, guiding is about more than simply putting fish in the boat. He enjoys seeing people become more successful anglers, gain confidence and better understand what the fish are doing throughout the year.
