Jeff Faulkenberry grew up with Truman Lake and the surrounding area, learning to fish from his dad and grandad in the early 1980s. His connection to the lake started early, and he began guiding on Truman when he was just 17 years old. Over the years, Jeff built a strong reputation as one of the top professional guides on Truman Lake. He spent time guiding out of Bucksaw Marina before going out on his own full time, and his name has become closely tied to Truman Lake fishing for many anglers around the region. Jeff is best known for crappie and blue catfish. His daily time on the water gives him a strong understanding of fish movement, seasonal patterns, lake conditions, and how different parts of Truman set up throughout the year. Jeff has also been a familiar voice in the local outdoor community. In his late teens, he began appearing on the Missouri Outback Radio Show with Johnny and Linda Everhart and went on to become a regular host for many years. That experience helped him share his knowledge with anglers well beyond the boat. His business, Faulkenberry’s Endless Season Guide Service, fits the way Jeff lives. When fishing season slows, he shifts into waterfowl hunts through the late fall and winter until duck season closes. Then it is right back to fishing. For Jeff, the outdoors truly is an endless season. As a Truman Lake Fishing Intel contributor, Jeff brings professional guide experience, current reports, and a deep understanding of Truman Lake crappie, catfish, and seasonal fishing patterns. Whether he is putting clients on fish, helping anglers learn the lake, or sharing what he is seeing on the water, Jeff is one of the most trusted guide voices on Truman.
